Our Beliefs

At St. James Preschool, we believe in the power of play and hands-on learning. Our caring and experienced teachers provide personalized attention and guidance, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive socially, emotionally and intellectually. Through inviting materials and engaging activities, we foster problem-solving skills, critical thinking and independence. We embrace creativity in a natural environment where children can explore and discover the wonders of the world around them.

Recognizing that learning is a process, exposure to concepts is integrated into the daily routine and academic skill-building is practiced through age-appropriate, meaningful activities. Our tented playground allows us to offer extended outdoor time and we provide many opportunities for family participation. At St. James Preschool we create an environment where children can feel comfortable within themselves, work with others and embrace the world around them.
