February 16 is Shrove Tuesday, and you know what that means…Yes! A pancake supper night. While we can’t yet meet as a group, we can still have pancakes at home followed by a zoom with Pastor Paul at 7:00pm to have some fun bible trivia as we prepare for Lent.
Did you know? Shrove Tuesday is also known as Fat Tuesday and the end of Mardi Gras. It is celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent). It is observed in many Christian countries through the participation of confession and absolution, and the ritual burning of the previous year’s Holy Week palms, finalizing one’s Lenten sacrifice.
