CHRIST IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED, ALLELUIA!
Today on radio church, we read about the miracle performed on Easter- the resurrection of Christ! We often refer to this story as a miracle because Jesus beat death and sin, and came to life again three days later on Easter. All of his friends expected Jesus to be in the tomb, but instead his tomb was empty! Jesus had risen from the dead! This seems pretty impossible to us, but through God’s power it was possible! Miracles happen all over in the bible as a way of demonstrating God’s power and Jesus’s connection to God- you might remember a few of them from Sunday school. Can you think of other miracles we have talked about?
Easter always reminds me of the start of spring, baby chicks, and new life. Another thing that always reminds me of Easter is….. Easter eggs! Normally at church we have an Easter egg hunt, but this year it might be fun to make our own Easter eggs.
