The Call Committee wanted to provide an update on what has occurred thus far. The committee has had two meetings, the first of which was primarily an orientation. The members of the committee are:

We met for the second time this past week, at which time Linda Bedard presented and answered questions relating to the results of the Congregational Church Assessment Tool (CAT Survey) and the St. James Ministry Site Profile (MSP) that was created from those answers. Additionally, Pastor Steven Wilco, Associate to the Bishop of the New England Synod and our liaison at the Synod for this phase, provided an overview of the Call Process and answered our questions.
In addition to providing you with a brief update, the committee has two requests of the congregation:
- Please keep St. James and the work of our Call Committee in your prayers. Ask that the Lord guide us, provide us with patience and the gift of clear communication, and help us as we walk down this path to the next chapter in the life of the St. James Congregation.
- We are in the phase now of preparing interview questions to be asked of Pastoral candidates as they are identified. The objective is to have a consistent set of questions for each candidate, and we welcome any input from the congregation in this regard.
